My problem is that I do not have the fifteen superfluous letters and cannot discover the “two additional words creating 12 new words the final solution to be submitted”. I would appreciate the extra letters so that I could work out this aspect of the puzzle. A really crafty, but fascinating Genius! Thanks again!

Matakari, some of the superfluous letters have been given already. The instruction is three words, with a letter count of 4, 6, 5. Maybe you could try to see what words appear if you use the letters you already have?

Hi Matakari - from answers here, you knowthat the three words are 4, 6 and 5 letters respectively. You also know that the last word of 5 letters is W _ _ DS....... WORDS comes to mind.

What letters have you worked out for the first 4 letter word
and what letters have you worked out for the 6 letter word?

Thanks, JJ109, as I intimated earlier, I've only got three of the superfluous letters and my grid fill must be faulty because I see WORD and not WORDS. You can put me out of my misery by giving me the fifteen letters and letting me work it out from there. Thanks again!

Sorry, Matakari, I thought by giving you the word/letter count, added to the three letters you'd found, and six (It think) given by ABers that you'd quickly work out the words, the instruction.'Words' is the last word in the instruction - and the S was given to you earlier.

8a A 3 letter word for gain, ending in "in". Which letter was removed as this is the surplus letter
11a The usual 3 letter word for writer - with the first letter removed which is the surplus letter

This will give you 3 out of the 4 letters for the forst word of the instructions. I am sure you can guess the other letter now
