I have crossed off the 14  2x2 s, but can't see the 3 possible names or the one to highlight? Help please

I can now see the 3  names for the game down a diagonal,  in a  row and in a column. Which to highlight?

1. Add the letters in each 2x2 "box" and mark the total in that 2x2 box

2. In clue order look at the surplus words. Clues 1& 2 are "merry" and "wrong", 5 and 5 letters gives the number 55

3 Play bingo and cross off the 2x2 box where you have written 55

4. Do this for all the clues, 3 &4 together, 5 & 6 together and so

5. Then look at what you have left uncrossed off

(please note this is my understanding but I made a mistake somewhere in a surplus word and I have crossed off one box in error!!!! and I can't be bothered to locate the error! - Good Luck!)

At the end of the game only one of the 3 names has been fully crossed off - that's the one to highlight.

ProfMaisie - without looking for errors, I had a situation that one word is crossed off completely, one word has 4 letters crossed off, and one word has one letter crossed off. I had thought that I had somehow crossed off one wrong box and that the one to be highlighted was therefore going to be the one "totally" uncrossed off. BUT from what you say I may have done it correctly. Can you please confirm that you have a similar pattern. Thankyou!

Prof M...I must have gone wrong as none of my 3 are fully croosed off. After the 14 "cross off...these are the 2x2s i have not crossed off...(naming them 1 - 25)..

 3 and 4, 6, 8,9, 14,15,18,19,22,24

name 1 INGO not crossed off

name 2 diagonal O not crossed off

name 3 H not crossed off ??

Very confused now...
