Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Another brilliant puzzle. Super neat in construction and a lovely endgame.

Fortunately the clues were not too difficult -- just as well as, had the corrections been more fiendishly disguised, it would have taken much time to proceed. I think the balance was spot on.

I've only been doing xwords for 60 years - I'm not up to Listener standard yet!

Keep at it, davebro3. I started with the Azed puzzle and the (as it was then) Independent Magazine puzzle. I was then able to do the odd clue in The Listener and built on that.

I think I'm there. I'm finding one small word in the preamble misleading, but I can't see an alternative endgame step which preserves the real words restriction.

It makes it a tough solve when you alter clues in a jigsaw, but I managed to fill the grid after solving 80% - I probably could have started a little sooner. I had three alternative letters in the message, but these were easy to fix.

Only have rather confused and incomplete versions of the phrases but as the rest has fallen into place I think I'm happy to forego those. Felt the final shift was a little sneaky
