Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Perfectly good clues and gimmick but the inspiration for this (as described in Wiki) was so utterly depressing that we abandoned the grid stare in limine.

I'm not familiar with the source material, but I'm left at the end wondering whether the quotation is relevant to the alterations used in the puzzle, or whether it's just a random quote from the source. It's certainly restricted the grid fill.

But it was a good challenge to complete, and all the clues were scrupulously fair. Thanks, Leo!

On mature reflection we decided to stare of a while and found a good candidate for a quotation word and then with the aid of Google found the appropriate line from the play.

The end result is very neat.

I thought there was a good mixture of clue difficulty. The end result, as has been said already, seems somewhat arbitrary.

Somehow, the whole puzzle didn't seem to have the usual "smooth" feel of a Listener. I can't be more specific than that.
