Just the one :-  Edge has broken some pieces of glass instrument (8)  ?A?P?P?S. BAGPIPES would fit "instrument" as the definition,  but I can't parse the word play.

Panpipes, instrument - that's because of Panes, pieces of glass,  but I haven't parsed it all!

Panpipes - 'pip' (edge; defeat) (has broken; is in) 'panes' (pieces of glass)

Thanks, Lie-in King, I couldn't check pip/edge.

All I could see & I think for clarity I should've said - pip; edge out; defeat narrowly

Thanks again, Lie-in King. I'm not  all that keen on 'pip' and 'edge' being synonyms, but I suppose they work... jus!

Agreed 🙂
