Could Be Either?

Bolt, catch, clasp, fastener or latch from whose name a word for a memento, miniature or photograph-encasing pendent derives its name.  4 letters  ?O?K.  I thought lock, but Danword thinks hook. Thanks in advance!

Danword often just shows words that fit, not necessarily words that match the definition in a clue! A Lock leads to a Locket, a  memento... pendant, Hook doesn't! I think Danword feels Hook = bolt, catch etc (and ignores the second half of the clue)
