Have got most words but the top left and bottom right 4 clues seem symmetrical, which would make the grid ambigous. Surely not??

That's right but it still works because of 'T' ending top left, and 'E' placement bottom right

It took me a while to spot the mistake with the two E words, the clues themselves are in the wrong order...

implies this answer fits in horizontally(going east...

E's in bottom right...the snow clue goes vertically ..."swept up" in the clue...

I had no problem with entering the answers to the E clues - it's just that the clues are not in alphabetical order of their solutions. E2 definitely comes before E1!
