How funny - TTT's village idiot post is removed, but we know about it because TheRavingMod made reference to it when he told TTT off.

Please get some help.

It just goes from bad to very bad every day, what a complete shambles, not that I am surprised with this incompetent mess of a UKGov.

10:07 great that should raise the intellectual level of the conversation.

10:04 Fri 24th - it really is, they suggested they had the answers and after all the time they had to make plans they have failed. Totally out of their depth.

What did you expect after voting for Brexit . This is the result of what you voted  for. Suck it up you losers .

TORATORATORA, your  "village idiot" related references are not acceptable.

Stop posting them.

TCL, maybe the way it was expressed was a bit off but like TTT, i'm having difficulty connecting Brexit to the policy of the current Labour government?

or is the suggestion being made that Labour's policy is somehow a Remainer's Revenge?

Brexit has diddly squat to do with this, unless you happen to be an utter buffoon.

Firms who survived covid, a couple of recessions and increased electricity costs, will find they will be fighting an uphill battle and will close.

Labour are a disgrace and as thick as mince.

Brexit did, and continues to affect a lot of companies that import and export, in turn that affects their customers further down the line here in the UK.

Many companies did survive covid, but survive is the key word. Breaking even can only go on for so long. All in all you are still seeing the damage done by both the above. And both damage government revenue.

//Brexit did, and continues to affect a lot of companies that import and export//

Rubbish, too long ago and too much water under the bridge to determine either  way now.

Labour are abysmal, total wasters and vile and vindictive with it.

Still, as expected.

'The latest S&P Global PMI survey reveals the rate of job cuts over the past two months is at the fastest rate since the 2009 financial crisis. Private sector employment has now declined for four consecutive months. Yesterday Sainsbury’ announced 3,000 job losses thanks to Reeves’ raid…'

Shambles.

:<0) Sainsburys have job cuts every year, 1500 last year. Aldi are giving them a kicking, and have been doing so for the last 6/7 years. Aldi always looking for staff. Have another try.

'

Chris Williamson of S&P Global warned: “The loss of confidence, combined with widespread concerns over higher staff costs associated with the Budget, pushed employment sharply lower again.” Meanwhile, Elliott Jordan-Doak of Pantheon Macroeconomics points out that firms are passing tax hikes directly onto prices while slashing jobs, leaving the Bank of England unable to “react to slowing growth” as traders bet against rate cuts'

'Reeves’ and the Labour's incompetent economic vandalism hitting hard and fast'

When you become so angry you can only see and hear what you want too see and hear, you become blind to any sort of senseability.

Government finances are paromount and there are times when everyone has to swallow the medicine, like it or not. The other option is massive inflation.
