Would 40000 Feet on a Free Fall Flight not be more likely?

It is an old tongue twister Dinkypuzzled which normally goes "Forty thousand feathers on a feathered thrushes throat" but with an east end accent it comes out exactly as GruntFuttock has correctly posted.
