Think the "e" is incorrect. I have "highwrought" (checks out in Chambers). Mind you I haven't got 13 across; what do you have?

would suggest you highlight "Quizzes and Puzzles" rather than "Crosswords" at the left side of page - you will find more help there, I think.

Sorry I didn't get to post an answer, I havn't had time to log on the past few days because I am back at work. I have been off sick for a few weeks hence the time to do the crosswords. Sorry I can't remember the clue now.
