I've completed majority of crossword - just stuck on a few... Any help most appreciated!

23a - Blow up the extraterrestrial's changing area (6) A-R---

24a - Screwed up dentists beginning to get around teething problem (9) (Would the answer be TIGHTENED? It fits but I'm not sure that it answers the clue?)

48a - Old timers found amongst the berries (6) E----S

3d - Adjust your torso to settle down with some bird (5) r-o--

10d - Norman's heading off in three year cycle to do nothing (7) I--R-I-

29d - One who gives out rises into a turn (6) I----R

40d - Cried out for deal about chlorine (6) C-----
