30 across: Clue; Highland moor is fine for Welsh in spring (4). I have: ?E?L. I thought of "fell" for "moor" and "well" for "spring" but nothing seems to quite fit; there seems to be too much information. Help please.

"fine for Welsh" ...I would read as substitute "f" for "w".
So "well" becomes "fell" (highland moor)
