..I had an idea it was that but could not find a definition .Now found it in Chambers ..het as in hot ..I presume ..passionate

The crossword seems to be causing a lot of interest each week; I enjoy them because they are cleverly themed.

I look forward to it each week now ..always interesting to do .
Sometimes I can breeze through it but not this particular one although once I realised the theme that gave me a good shove in the right direction .I always seem to have a small clue which defeats me !

I hesitated on this one because of the PM in the clue and then realised that it was our esteemed Scots PM Mr Brown they were referring to, hence the scottish 'heat' & 'all'
