If it's cryptic it could be Eagle as that was the landing vehicle on the Apollo 11 mission. I've just glanced at an item on Apollo in a Dictionary of classical Mythology but can't see anything.

In the Legend of King Arthur - Stonehenge was "The Temple of Apollo" - Apollo's messenger was called Abaris..........................I think it is a type of bird as well........................allegedly :o)
