Hi gordon - how attached are you to the 'O' & (2nd) 'I'?

Invalid - fits double definition as in "suffering from ill health" & "having no legal force" (??)

Thanks Lie-in King. The O comes from 23a-Guest gives up making innuendo ...(10) I thought SUGGESTION and the I comes from 29a- Plaintiff's making noises about island (8) and for that I have LITIGANT ( the first I )

Just googled " synonyms for PLAINTIFF " and got CLAIMANT among others
Only word that fits is 'ivoried'. Are you sure about 3rd and 5th letters as I think the answer may be 'INVALID'
