20a. Coach's cry (5-2) I have Y as the last letter of 1st
word.
16d. Ghost or live wire (6), I have R as 4th letter.

Dont think it is carry on. we have 'tally-ho'

Krypton, you're right, when I was filling in the answers I realised Carry On wasn't correct but found Tally Ho was.
The only one I can't get is SS Entia (5) and I can't see where I'm wrong with the answers to the clues going down.

Hi Krypton, I asked my husband to have a look at that clue last night and he suggested: Ensis. Considering that entia is the plural of ens which means being (as in existence) I think he is probably correct. Anyway, I have put that in and am posting the crossword today.

What do you think?

I am not sure. Ensis is not a word I can find anywhere-but neither is the other suggested answer 'esses'. Could be either.

I agree, Krypton, but in my case the die is cast. I have posted the completed entry with ensis.
