Treat it as a normal Carte Blanche to start with, remembering there is one unclued entry - as stated in the preamble. The down clues start ata point to be determined but this can be worked out with a bit of study.
Look out for some tricks in some of the entries.
Monday Rollo! !!! I was congratuling myself on Thursday evening after cracking that one. Albeit a Bradfords, trusty net anagram finder and a bottle of very nice Sauvignon.
I was expecting to be able to match up the across lights from the bottom by matching the lengths of the ones from the top, but this doesn't seem to work: the first across light is given as 6 and the last one - by my reckoning - is a 9.
Have I misunderstood "conventional order"?
Or what obvious wrinkle am I missing?
