I've counted 11 'remaining' unclued lights. and matched 5 with the 9th word and 5 with the 13th, leaving 105d left over.

Perhaps it's spare....

Rapparee, I'm in the same position. I seem to have found homes for the ten very nicely alluded to unnumbered lights in the rubrick, and 105 seems to be an orphan. Unlike some online crosswords, this looks like an exact reproduction of the printed page, so it doesn't look like an error that crept in at the uploading stage.

Very enjoyable crossword. All done except the answers connected to the eighth word, probably something very simple but I can't see it! Any hint with regard to the 'two elements' would be most welcome.Many thanks and Happy Christmas to all contributors.

split the 8th word up xxx - y. The 'y' remains constant.
