Hi davey b - Potter's form is 'fettle' - 1000 kg roadster is 'tonneau - Fought in coup is 'scrapped' - I found this harder than usual - any thoughts on 14d?
Hi Dave - I didn' realise you were there - 14d is Bear off the rest (7) - no letters I'm afraid.
The Blastit wonner, as I understand it, is a louse - the young of which is a nit, but doesn't fit.

Woke up this morning and wondered if the "?" could mean that it "sounds like" - which would allow knit (sounds like nit). A bit tenuous !!!
