Spectator Christmas Crossword.
5 Answers
Although I've always taken the Spectator, I've never attempted the corssword, but I thought I would have a go at the Christmas one. I have had a stab at it and got about a third of the answers, but I wondered if anyone had any hints / tips / pointers on how best to deal with the rubric. Also the particluar style of the clues ?

The letters in the yellow squares spell out the name of a 1900th century English poet and her most famous work will give you the first three lines referred to in the preamble.
I found the clues suggested by the 4th word as the most difficult, but if you think 'books from the Bible' you should get there.
Good luck and come back if you are stuck.
