Off the top of my head, I know moola is slang for money, so might 'mool' be 'a fine' rather than something that is fine?
Correction. I've now found it in Chambers which says "fine, a general word of commendation"

Many thanks, I now think there may be an error, as what you found in chambers is spelt mooi, so may have mixed with mool.
many thanks again
So it is! I think you may well be right.
