How many letters? Do you have anything in them?

Hope I am doing this right , I have never done this before

4a Possibly don church vestment mostly worn by old rebel (8) c - - - m - c
6d Where in Scotland children once raised fish
(7) - - e - c - e
14a I have just got thanks.

Many thanks in advance.
You did it absolutely right. Am now thinking about them and wondering if 6d could be Glencoe - must admit I don't really see why though
Just realised you only give 7 letters for 4a, starting with 'c'. If there's a blank first, I think it might be 'academic' - don as in a master at a university.

Looks right Christiana, I can see (once or eel) which I thought might be an anagram, But don't know where the G comes from.
Many thanks.
cade is the rebel and the church vestment mostly is 'amice' - take off the 'e' and put 'cade' in the middle

academic, brilliant.

I have just worked out 6d, it is DEESIDE. IDE being the fish and SEED being Scottish Children.

Thank you very much Christiana for your help. Nice to have met you.
Deeside's brilliant, too. Glad you let me know. I wasn't happy with Glencoe. Nice to have met you, too.
