Ceiidh is an anagram of L (line), DICH (one/you in German) and IE (that is). Canary (or singer) is an informer, so is sycophant: an anagram of PITY NO CASH C(risis).

Ceil is to overlay or LINE. one is 'i' and dh is das heisst, german for 'that is'.
