Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Hi Krypton27, I too am struggling this week. I don't have either of the clues you're looking for. I have the letters you have but I don't even understand the instructions in the little box at the top.

I found out that St.Custards is a fictional school but still can't solve the clue.

Thanks anyway. I dont understand the little box either and some of the clues are hard to fathom. How about 'City: e.g.?

I think that's Cologne because after city is a colon to which you then add eg.

Lol. I really think I should try a bit more on my own first but I'll give you one clue down, 7d. Sets of 10 - Set D &c (7). I think the 3rd letter may be C.

5 ac is 'child' chi is greek for ten (X) and ld = lord

Dont think its decimal - how about 'decades'?
Then what about the goddess we know?

Hi K27 - it really is a stinker this week - the only other ones I have are
22a - osteoma (anag of to some a)
24a - erato (muse)
7d - dectets (set of 10 musicians)
12d - woesome (only thing I can get to fit!!)

Had some of these but not the dectets . Just identified 'gutta' for the drop ball so we only (!) have the goddess and the country (india?) still unsolved.
