18 down; clue: Worry with advancing years restricting working lives (7). I have: A?O?I?E, I think it must be either AGONIZE or AGONISE but don't really know why.

Also, 20 across, clue: Approach bear (4). I have: TA?E. I suppose it could be TAKE as in TAKE UMBRIDGE (bear) but don't see how APPROACH comes in. Help me to tidy it up please.

Agonise. Advancing years = age, around working = on and lives (as in exists) = is.

Take isn't a great clue, imho, but as a noun take can mean approach, as in what's your take on something
