Hi, K & F! I was just going to post a question for 11d, but thought I'd better look through postings first! I got locked into the same 'rubbing and reeving' words I came up with for 27d, and the best I could come up with was 'reft', having spelled 6a wrongly!
However, I have now completed the right side of the puzzle - but still lots of gaps on the left side for when I get back onto the case when I have time tomorrow... so I may be back!!

11d. is "HENT". Look uo "hen" in Chambers. I too am stuck on 16Ac. I have "?eart". Any ideas, Foxspur?
