Thank you, greyfox. Wish me luck.
Thanks as usual greyfox.

Like you I purchased Brewer quite recently, but I could probably have completed this just by googling.

Regards K
K, are you saying that you have finished it already?
Good morning Zita.

Yes it's done. Good luck with yours and come back if you need help- but not too soon otherwise some people get a bit ratty.

Cheers K
How do you do it? I am agog. I know I am new to this but, honestly, how DO you do it?
Over 60 years of crossword experience helps.

You will find in time that words will start to form in your mind as you read the clues and recognise the 'indicators' placed by the setter.

The main thing is not to be overawed by your first reading but take your time and methodically work through the clues and things will fall into place.

All the words in today's crossword can be found in Bradford which I think is essential for the serious solver.

Off to collect my daughter who is flying in for a few days so I may not be on line for a while.

K
Thank you, K. Enjoy your time with your daughter.
K, I am intrigued, that is the first time you have given any personal information as far as I know - either you are far more advanced in years than your very agile mind suggests, or you started solving cryptics at the age of 2 or so! Lovely!
However, I totally agree with you about the effects of crossword familiarity. I take far longer than you, but even familiarity with a certain crossword (this one or the AZED) makes it a far speedier process. Having the right books etc. helps too. Zita should be reassured and not feel slow or limited.
Thank you, robin. I'm struggling with the title - there are several possibilities. I'm not going to give up.
Thanks for the link, Greyfox. Have a lovely time with your daughter, K. I, too, recently bought a Brewers and beginning to reap the benefits. As Im on holiday I have no access to a printer today, but hoping to visit one of my sons tomorrow and print it off there.
Thanks for your help, C
Thanks for the link, greyfox. A bit trickier than recent weeks, I thought, but good fun.
as always many thanks for link.
Thank you greyfox - I shall take this one with me on my camping trip - it looks like we may have some rain !
