bezzie you needn't have stated yet another post for your comment, but could have made it on your original one.

As you know space on the front pages is very short on Sundays, and if some of the 20 spaces are taken up with chitchat it means that serious questions quickly get pushed off the page. Everyone knows that it is the new questions on the front which most attention.

Chat has a special category and your messages can just as easily be put on chatterbank.

I'm sure you are aware that postings that are deemed to be chat and not questions will be removed by the editor.
