Thanks JMR27 - good one ! the "G" I had was from steelinG (clue: Expecting some fortification)... so that's certainly wrong as must be the "D" - again (clue : Note, one flowing from antique instrument) I reckoned that was a Recorder, and thinking the word "one" was the Queen's word for "me" (ER) - I knocked it off & got Record (Note) I guess I get too complicated at times - my scientific background is showing.
