I agree, it's fairly straightforward. I was a bit slow on the north-east corner, even though I had the top and bottom phrases fairly quickly. I haven't sorted out all the ingredients yet, so I still have some ambiguities left.

Yes, we have more or less filled the grid but are faced with ambiguities in the south east and south west corners concerning some of the ingredients.

Certainly one where one could make plenty of early inroads, but I thought sorting out the ingredients was not all plain sailing, particularly given the various versions of the recipe in circulation. Quite good fun, though, so thanks to Parsnip

Lovely gentle puzzle - and a huge relief after the last two weeks - I've finally admitted defeat with Poat's Rules and am still grinding through the dominoes.

I have just managed to sort out all the ingredients but totally agree with turnerjmw that the final stage is difficult. This was encouraging for newcomers because the solutions went in so easily, but the endgame was a 'slog' - especially in view of the different versions of the 'recipe'.

While I agree Parsnip's puzzle was a lot easier than some of the recent offerings, I didn't find the grid fill as straightforward as others have. Some of the clues were pretty convoluted, and I have still to figure out a couple of bits of wordplay. Once I had realised the theme, a quick Google got me at least five variations of the recipe. Unfortunately, none was the correct one!

This was very pleasant - some great clues with a couple of nice compound anagrams. Back to the dominos...

The preamble states "The last two unclued entries complete the list of ingredients." Please explain.
I enjoyed this offering from Parsnip, but feel there may be a pitfall or two for the unwary:-)

clamzy there are 2 unclued entries in the grid which are not made up of the ingredients but are part of the recipe

Thanks Midazolam. My problem is with the first 3 words in the preamble sentence above. My two extra unclued are at 1ac and 44ac. and not the "last" two unclued entries. But maybe I've completely misunderstood.

I think you are being a little harsh, Clamzy. These are the last two in the sense that they are the ones left over when you have stirred all the ingredients. I suppose you could argue that '...the two last...' would have been better, in that that's what they are in each part of the recipe, but I didn't take issue with the rubric.

Pretty straightforward grid fill but missing wordplays to 6d 18d & 19d.

Finding the Ingredients was hard work but got there in the end.

milford - 27 down contains an example of a compound anagram = remove 'goo' from 'biological' and rearrange for the answer.

6d: 'conventional' refers to Geneva, 'nut' = en

18d; Corvo is the smallest of the Azores

19d: even letters of 'the cold ham' plus 'i' for in
