Hello EV N&C Wine Clubbers,
A little more challenging this week. Populated the grid slowly, but steadily, then pored for ages trying to fathom the relevance of the extra letters, still not sure, but have deduced the Title and shaded the 19 squares, and in my grid the shape could have 2 options!

Amazon unbelievable, hard to comprehend a river 1000 miles from the sea being 6 miles wide in the dry season and 45ft deeper in the wet season with a width of 23 miles. Houses with floors that rise with the river and portable cow rafts. Manaus a city of over two million in the middle of the jungle with nowhere to go but on the river.
