I would favour 'leans' because of the (against). You can loaf about without slouching or leaning AGAINST anything, but can't be certain

Thanks Christiana. I agree with the (against) part but was favouring LOAFS as it has a pejorative connotation like SLOUCHES while LEANS does not; anyone with an opinion on this, please?
