Still struggling with a few:

10 ac: Metal's variable edge, not hard (4). I have _i__. Is it MILD? If so, why?
26 ac See wife hugged by wholesome Caribbean native ((7). I have L_G____.
31 ac With most of a ships floor line cracking, sea water spouted (9). I have D_C_A____. I assume it stats with DEC......
37 ac Herb with date arriving from East in Spanish shops (7). I have B___G_S. BORAGES maybe? But can't see why.

Any help appreciated (with explanations please)
