Is it just me or do more of you think that some people are just too lazy to look up an answer for themselves. Ok now and then we all get stuck on a question and come on here for an answer but I find 99% of answers just by looking them up. thats how you learn. Some people come on here and ask for answers that would be just as quick to look for them on the net and who knows they may even learn something new. have a nice day

Well said casiopia, I can't believe some of the questions asked on here. So easy to google, mosy answers are there. I agree criptic are a little different and people may need help there, but if they are given the answers, they will continue to ask on here.

I agree with you. I only look here if I have exhausted all other avenues. Surely the objective is to solve the crosswords, not crib from someone else's work! I rarely have to get more than a couple from the Answerbank, at most.

Surely the point is to solve it yourself even if you have to come back to it several times over a few days. If it's a general knowledge crossword then you can't know everything so find out. If it's cryptic then come back to it later. You will then get the satisfaction of completing it yourself. It's SUPPOSED to be a challenge. OK, when you finally give up it's nice to find out the answers without waiting for a full week but use this as a last resort!

The point in doing a crossword is to get the answers.....how you get them doesn,t matter.You learn something if you find the meaning of word you haven,t come across before.That,s what it,s all about,really....and it,s a bit of fun......

The whole point of this site is to answer questions. If every answer was "Use Google" or "that's obvious", the site wouldn't last long.
