EV 922 Works by Oxymoron

I know that this composer is a bete noire for some of us, but this particular offering is accessible: do have a go at it, it's very rewarding. There's some delightful cluing, amusing in parts - and ribald (32 ac is my favourite). My way in was through 23 ac, once one has a few intersecting letters from down answers that work can be guessed, which leads to the originator and hence to the other works.
Great stuff! Thanks to Oxymoron, I feel compelled to celebrate with a small(-ish) glass of 'Ladies who shoot their lunch' (Strathbogie Shiraz), which I also recommend highly.

It's interesting to note that there are two possible 2-letter combos, in the 6th spot (ie letters 11 & 12 of the hint), that could accurately describe the originator. I was waylaid for a few minutes by fixating on the wrong two!

Hello Speravi,
Not as challenging as many of Mr O's offerings, although I suspect there was a shriek of anguish when Devadolly saw the name of the compiler!
I'm just about to start preparing dinner, with the help of a large cryptically clued "notable complaint". Dinner will be washed down with a Tempranillo.

'Evening All as the original TV cop would say! Sorry about the phantom post earlier, was trying to find out if there 'was anyone there' and hit the wrong key! Events intervened..............and then............ have seen the perp for this week and was very brave and didn't panic (was expecting HIM as last week's was not taxing). So far have managed more than my usual first offering for the dreaded Mr O but am floundering ne'er the less and only have the first letter of the (in all your clever cloggsis eyes) oh so easy 23ac, haven't the faintest idea of what to Google so will retire to DC and recharge the batteries with a White Lady cocktail (found some Cointreau left from Xmas and a lemon left over from making the Elderflower Cordial) and concentrate on finishing my part of painting the outside of the Hovel tomorrow. Regards to all
The Joglers are still on parental duties in sunny Devon (so no hardship here!) but I do have a nifty dongle and more than enough time (ah, if only that were all one needed!) to work through both the Listener and today's EV. Some fairly straightforward cluing from Mr O (ie even I managed a few clues) and the extra letters and 23 across combined created a sensible google phrase. What are we going to do for the rest of the week....
Hello to anyone still there. Afraid I haven't had a chance to spend more than 5 mins with Mr O and am not very further forward. Too many raspberries/gooseberries/etc to harvest/freeze/jam to do more than eat or sleep, I think I may need a hint as have only found 3 definate and 3 possible from the 8...................
Did find time to go to the excellent Peter Pan in the Park last night, anyone near enough to Williamson's Park in Lancaster should try and make this excellent production, particularly targeted to children the producer told us but we adults thoroughly enjoyed it - Himself particularly!!
