Stuck on last one. 23) Slatterns set about getting around parts of Sussex (8) I have ??APES?S
I think it is trapeses (old for traipses) i.e rapes (for parts of Sussex) and set put around but can't find anything to connect it with slattern.

Traipse...to walk or tramp about. Slattern might loosely be described as a 'tramp'?
yes trapeses ... a trapes is a slattern (it's defined as such in Chambers under 'traipse')
