Can anyone help please? 22A. In the wrong by removing rare part ot the bible (6). E?R?N?. I can only think of ERRING but for the life of me I can't work out the clue apart from "Erring" meaning "in the wrong". How does the Bible come into it?

Thanks infomaniac & Oldred. I nearly got it right! Thanks for making the connection.
Hi! It's not Erring it's Errant. Means same thing. Erra is anagram of rare - NT is New
Testament which is part of the bible.
