Yes, he has signed a new contract. Unless it's a very, very low-key, non-speaking part from now on, he must have pulled-through! Quite how you survive after THAT event beggars belief. Must have very good A&E in the Dales.

Sorry missed all your replies.
For a 'soap' the entire episode but in particular the ending was like watching a film.Those guys are brilliant actors and in particualr Danny Miller who plays Aaaron -he's only 18 -he will be a major player.
Agree craft -the switching between the two scenes was very dramatic !

I thought the close ups of Jackson's head covered in blood were pretty gruesome for that time of night. Real edge of the seat stuff, and for once, the trailers which kept showing the build up didn't actually give the real ending away.

The van was on its side and across the tracks and would`ve made all the signals go red therefore alerting the train driver to stop
