participle - is the only word that fits.

Can you explain the answer or maybe I'm thick !

OK I get it an odd way - these clues get dafter every week !
'Eaten' and 'drunk' are both past participles grammatically. Not a great clue...

Yeh - how interesting - dull clue !
Sorry I didnt get back to you Alun I got called away. I saw pasta and tipple in past participle but couldn't account for the remaining letters RIC, hence the ?
