My second puzzle and I think I'm done.Haven't got the full quotation but didn't need it to complete. Highlight "12" letters puzzled me till I realised one square was in both!
I'll wait and see what this week's Listener thread "says" as regards its difficulty before i have a go.

Well done roslyn, the 12 letters was a bit of a trick. Be wary of getting sucked into the Listener unless it seems doable. If you like, I'll give you the heads up on its approximate difficulty on this thread. If I haven't posted, you'll know it's a tough one . . .

This week's Listener is a bit tougher than usual. Not too hard a grid to fill, but the final step could cause a bit of head scratching. Probably not one for a newcomer, unless you don't mind a frustrating weekend. Bear in mind it's severely frowned upon to give hints for the Listener on here, unlike other puzzles (not that that stops people). Cheers

Thanks for taking the time to post turnerjmw - i literally just clicked on the thread.
I have a busy weekend in store as we go to Vienna on Tues so I shall see how time pans out for me. Might take it with us on our trip as our very clever brother-in-law is going too and he can have a look at it!
