Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Oh dear ! Quotation found far too quickly, leading to realisation of the nightmare to follow. All but three clues already solved. To complete gridfill, it's one for the Wiki-ists, not the aficionados, mefears. But I'll struggle on ....

Yes indeed. Having got back and wanting a little time to finish off last week's, I was somewhat surprised by this. The quotation is fairly easy to find (I knew I didn't change my copy of ODQ for a good reason) and then it seems to descend into something of a slog. Oh well, variety is what it should be all about, I suppose. But I can't shake the feeling that it's an opportunity that's gone begging a little.

My mistake, a neophyte threader ..... silly me (and it took me two attempts to post this under Q&P !). I hadn't even noticed that there was an alternative, more aptly named, Crosswords thread (as I have always found the others from Google). Beg forgiveness .... everybody revert to RR (as often) and continue thereon ..... !!!!!
