My first thoughts on this were an old programme with a 2 word (one word repeated actually) title...but I may be quite wrong.

Re the csi question, there is no weaver in any of the 3 seies. Only ever watched 2 (csi and csi miami) but look at character lists for all 3 and can't see any likely name.
