Good morning all, from nippy but sunny south oz, where a chilly night means a lovely day to follow and looking forward to a whole week of the same !!
Lots of lovely points too, though Kate tried to outsmart us and very nearly succeeded, throwing in one of her 'curly' answers, but one of our number was up to the task - more of that later, and the matches were -
Maple Syrup
Pearl Barley
British Empire
Splinter Group
Once the great 'fee fie and fum' debate settled down - and that begs the question of what came first ... King Lear or Jack and the Beanstalk ?? Was the Bard into reading fairy stories ?? did Jack pinch more than the golden egg ?? who cares !!! - there were plenty of points scored and the Star Turns came from SLANEY, CLIFFYG & MAGYAR, all of whom collected 6 points for three correct, and Magyar managed the only hit on Splinter Group, so well done, Magyar !!
24 intrepid players scored 3 points and a further 31 added a point to their tally, rounding out a very good week's effort, so Congratulations and Very Well Done to all !!!!
The Free Fall Club membership is steadily decreasing - we like to see that - and by the end of the month will probably be reduced to the two dedicated souls, who then let their hair down and really get into it !!
Next Saturday promises more of the same - I hope - so we'll reconvene same time, same place for the next assault, till then I wish you all a good week [ and fingers crossed for the safe return of Rover ] and the Leader Board will follow .... cheers, skz
That's OK Steff - thanks for all your efforts and enjoy your Sunday. Your weather sounds much like ours in S.W. France - chilly nights and lovely warm days. I think we are supposed to be up to 28C today.
