Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Any help with the two above questions would be most welcome. Simultaneous equations do not seem to work ie 2x + 3y =56 3x + 3y = 84 2x + 6y =107 would appear to be the equations? Or have I got it wrong as usual?

I cannot get anything regarding the cricketer. His nationality or a rough time span would be a help.

What are the questions, please?

These three simultaneous equations together don't work. I get a different value of x for each of the three combinations of equations. Are they all supposed to be in the same question? If they are sim. eqn's then they don't work, unless I am missing something.

I'm confused now. I worked out the answer using simultaneous equations and the figures were correct. I couldn't find the bit paper I used and now it doesn't tally. I must have made a mistake and arrived at the answer by chance.

Subtracting Equation 1 from Equation 2 gives x= 28, y = 0, which won't fit Equation 3. And that is as much help as is possible from the information given.

Not giving the full questions is denying you the help of all those ABers who aren't doing the quiz themselves. Tell us more!
