Am stuck on these two clues, all answers are different occupations.
1. To spoil or botch (7)
2. Trick by manoeuvring (6) wondered if it was jockey but very unsure.

1. could be butcher. The dictionary definition in such as "butcher a job". Maybe!

Thanks I had not thought of butcher so will put that down, not too sure if tinker is an occupation but will use it if I cannot think of anything else.

It could be jockey - you jockey for position for example

tinker is or rather was a repairer of pots and pans

I think butcher and jockey are correct.
