pretty well completed this but can't find the word SHUELF for 16 d South Yorkshire town? Eff off! (no definition in this clue, but I think the answer should be a kind of law, according to the theme of the puzzle.). And I'm not happy with 27 d Where you see clubs, once combined (IN ONE?) 32a A supplier of booze imports the best of Prosecco (Topper?)(no definition here either)

I just got the Copper/CMD clues. And the reason I was stuck on Shield was I 'd put DUPLEX across instead of DIPLEX. Thanks anyway. I'm sure all Mephisto fans are going to miss Mike Laws. Where Tim Moorey's puzzles were sometimes horrendously hard, and Paul McKenna's just plain infuriating, I always looked forward to Mike's puzzles.
