Good morning all, from a very windblown south oz, where we've tied down the chooks and praying the roof holds !! Some aspects of winter are not all that enjoyable.
Plenty of enjoyment to be had from this week's matches - depending on which ones you selected, they were -
Charm Bracelet
Maltese Cross
Evening Primrose
Pipe Organ or Organ Pipe[s]
And it was the last one which provided the most challenge ... so much so that only one player and a newcomer at that, picked up the points - explanations a little further along.
STAR TURNS came from MIRANDASMUM, OWLLADY, AQUAGILITY, STEVIE, CPFCROSIEL & MR A, albeqwerty's OH, all of whom collected 6 points for three correct matches ..... Mr A was the only taker for Organ Pipe and I suspect an upheaval or two in that household will follow after alba's dire predictions .... just so the two of you are back on deck next weekend for the final round !!!
Apart from that a goodly number of points were collected by most of the other players which shows up on the Leader Board following this post so Congratulations to ALL and we'll reconvene next Saturday, same time, same place for the final round for this month, have a good week and I'll see you then ... skz
If only I could predict the lottery numbers similarly lol
He'll be a happpy bunny all week. I read your post out lout and he sat there grinning like the proverbial and chuckled away!! The things a girl does to keep her man happy :D
Hi Steff
I also recalled putting Pipe Organ as my answer so I looked back and yes I did BUT I had a typo on the word Organ which came our ORAN. I think I'm entitled to the point as Organ was the original word and it was the word PIPE that was important.
What say you?
profound apologies guys, you're both correct and scores have been amended accordingly - I can only plead a very cranky tummie which has plagued me all weekend and is now playing havoc with this weeks arrangements to get me out of hot water !!
I'm so glad people do check their scores and keep an eye on yours truly, I've been known to make some awful stuff-ups in my time ...cheers, Steff
