Good Morning from the Ice Queen.

I've told you about our lovely National Park and so today will move on to other parts of this countryside. This area is known as The Sun Parlour of Ontario and you can judge from that that our summers are filled with sunshine. This can be a blessing but also a curse as the heat sometimes is so intense that one does not venture outdoors at all unless absolutely necessary. If one is silly enough to venture out in such heat the consequences may require medical attention. That is the curse. The blessing is that we are building more and more windmills for our 'Green Energy Program" and solar installations are also making their appearance and should do well with the supply of summer heat. When cool air moves in we get horrific storms. Two years ago this month our home was struck by lightning. But I digress. I think the world weather has been changing a lot in recent years, getting so hot that everyone everywhere is talking about it.

However, the fruit and vegetables grow well and in summer we are spoiled for choice with farmers setting up roadside stands where we can buy veggies or fruits straight from their farms and at half the price charged in the supermarkets. I often think that we are so very fortunate in this respect. So far this year we've had a glut of asparagus, strawberries, raspberries, peppers, beans, peas etc etc. Later will come the melons, corn, plums, apples and pears.

And of course this area has many vineyards. With many different and new grapes being grown. Actually, so many good wines that we are overtaking the famous Niagara Region in wine production. Many of our quality wines have won prizes at the yearly wine tasting competition in France and we have actually beaten the French with our wonderful wines. And of course we mustn't forget the famous Ice Wine. Very expensive - very sweet and delicious. If you have a chance to sample it you will not be disappointed.

According to normal practice, for the everyday running of MM, I shall follow crofter’s rule on word length, in that each of my pre-selected link words contains at least four letters and at most eight letters. Stray outside this range and you will be wasting one of your attempts!

Each of the selected link words may go in front or behind my challenge word! The competition will officially close on Sunday Evening at 7.00pm, when Gen2 will declare my pre-selected words and then apply the same rules for awarding points that have been applied during all MM Link Games in the past. My set of four words to have their links predicted should appear below at 9.00am.
