You're right,Dinkypuzzled.We always sang Give the dog a bone when I was at school (long time ago)

we used to sing "give A dog a bone"!

We used to sing one called "The Farmer's in His Den(or dell)"........The child wants a dog.......The dog wants a bone etc,etc

I've just played it on google -it went the child wants a nurse-the nurse wants a dog-the dog wants a bone.I had forgotten some of it and I can't cut and paste!!
