Still uncertain folks... TRUNDLES is not 100% convincing cos you could say that the the train THUNDERS along. C'mon Lie-in-King where r u when I need you need you ? Thanks... J/Boy
Chambers is the authoritative crossword dictionary. It specifically defines "trundle" as slow and heavy. What more do you want?
